9th Hole Coursework

Coursework on the 9th hole will begin on Monday to extend the storm water pipe. Members are asked to exercise caution around this area while this work is taking place.

It is expected that this work will be completed over the period of Monday and Tuesday, however it is possible for this timeframe to be extended due to unforeseen circumstances.

Members are asked to be flexible in regards to time periods on this particular project, as it needs to be completed over the next week as some of the required machines will be leaving The Club at the end of the week.

The Club would like to thank members in advance for their understanding.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Bonnie Doon Clubhouse on 17 July 2018 at 6:00pm.

It is requested that any questions due to be asked at the AGM are submitted to the General Manager via the email murray@bdgc.com.au no later than Monday 9 July so management are able to prepare answers.

Please note that questions asked at the AGM without prior submission may not be answered on the night.

The Club would also like to advise members that immediately following the AGM there will be an information forum regarding the status of the Heffron Road crossing, followed by questions from the floor.

Ladies' Interclub Update

The final match of the Eastern Region Silver Interclub was played in sunshine and with light winds at St. Michael's Golf Club last Friday.

Bonnie Doon went up against a strong side from The Lakes Golf Club and went down 1.5/5.5 with a win from Sumi Jackson and a square by Doerte Rose.

With that win, The Lakes Golf Club were able to tie with Royal Sydney Golf Club as joint winners of the Silver Competition for 2018.

The Club would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the Ladies on their Interclub campaign for 2018.

Driving Range

Members are reminded that all shots hit on the driving range are to be hit from the synthetic mats at the back of the teeing area. This is being done to protect the area during winter.

This includes tee shots that do not take divots.

Members who ordered wine through the Bar earlier in the year will be happy to know that the orders have come in.

Scratch Winners

Josh Bell takes out best round for this week, with a brilliant 39 on Saturday.

Scott Lockwood wasn't far behind, bringing in a strong 37 points on Sunday.

Guy Lightfoot and Tyrone Jackson round out our list of scratch winners with 31 points on Monday and Wednesday respectively, both edging in on countbacks.
