Dennise’s experience as a golf professional speaks for itself; she won the Australian LPGA Championship in 1986 and 1987, as well as the European Match Play and French Biarritz Open in 1989, being ranked fifth on the European Order of Merit and the Number One Australian worldwide. Dennise also showed her skill in playing Representative Golf for Australia twelve times. All of this on course experience adds up to create an excellent Golf Professional.

As a coach, Dennise’s accomplishments match her playing skill, she was the first ever woman to be named in the Top 50 Coaches in Australia by Golf Magazine, and coached the Women’s World Cup team in 2010. Dennise also coached the NSW State Women’s Team from 2008 until 2013, and was the coach for the NSW State Junior Girls team from 2012 through to 2014. She also Coached the 2013 Australian Youth Olympic Team, the same year she was named the PGA Teaching Professional of the Year NSW/ACT, becoming the first woman to do so. Dennise was named in the Top 50 Australian Golf Coaches by Golf Digest in 2017.

Dennise is a AAA PGA Professional, and is Accredited by the Australian Coaching Council and holds an LPGA V.E.T.A.B Certificate. She has been the President of the Australian LPGA for five years, and is a qualified club fitter.

No matter what, Dennise is capable of assisting you to improve any aspect of your game. Her mantra that golf is played on the course and not at the driving means that she has developed a number of packages to assist in improving your game.

Christian Small

Christian is a 20+ year PGA of Australia advanced accredited coach, who has coached professional tournament winners on 4 differing worldwide PGA tours. Christian has a warm and welcoming approach to the lesson experience and has a defined teaching style that he delivers with simple words that have effective results.

Christian was the Head teaching professional at the Lakes Golf Club for 6 years and in this time developed the Lakes Golf Academy and was involved in the design and implementation of the teaching facility.

Christian, in 2019 coached all three grade champions at The Lakes. He also coached the Veteran Ladies champion and one of the juniors from his program finished 5th in the U10’s World Championship in the USA, that same year. This is an achievement amongst all others, that he holds closest to his heart.

This process was created by Christian because he saw that golf was being taught like no other thing that we learn, and golfers were struggling for consistency and were continually frustrated by uncertainty.

The trajectory in development of Christian’s golf coaching philosophy and methodology, to what you see today was born in a coaching seminar in McKinney Texas in 2000 held by Hank Haney. Hank’s words encouraged Christian to challenge everything he had been taught and thought about the game and the golf swing. This lead Christian on an adventure to find a more efficient and simple way to teach and an easier way for the golfer to learn.

Christian is accredited in using Trackman, SAM Puttlab and CAPTO putting as well as Aimpoint Express and Forces and Motions. He uses Focus Band for mindset training and provides remote learning using the Hudl application.

Christian also has extensive club fitting experience having been a club fitter on the US PGA’s Korn Ferry Tour and LPGA tours (based out of Los Angeles) as well as custom fitting 20+ Australian PGA tour players for drivers for 5 wins on the Korn Ferry tour that year.

Christian has run some of Sydney’s best junior programs and has a passion for providing kids with entry points to the game, pathways for development into membership so that they can become lifelong golfers.

Christian Teaches Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at Bonnie Doon and is available for playing lessons and corporate events.

Greg Green

Greg grew up in Sydney before heading off to college in the United States in 1992 to play on a golf scholarship in Alabama. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Psychology before turning professional in 1997. He played on many tours throughout the world (Asia, Canada, South America) until 2001 when he started his PGA Professional Program back in Sydney.

Greg has been a golf instructor for 20+ years and has a passion for coaching and sharing the knowledge he has gained over his extensive playing career with his students. His usual schedule is Monday to Friday at The Club but can also be available on the weekends, public holidays and for corporate events. He has a simple approach to the game that has consistently shown results. He will make you a better player through fundamentals, psychology and work ethic.
